I'm Ansheng Wang, a director and cinematographer based in Toronto. I shoot and direct from the same chair — the frame and the story are decided together, never handed off.
My work leans dark and deliberate: composition first, emotion underneath, nothing on screen by accident. I trained in film production and work across narrative, music video, and brand films, often operating camera on my own projects to keep the vision intact from first idea to final grade.
What I'm after isn't polish for its own sake. It's the feeling a frame leaves once the lights come up.
